Matt Storch Gary is a world class guitar hero! Next Stop...the big time! Congratulations on the new album. I look forward to the full release! Favorite track: Confusion.

zimzerveran I've been playing this album non-stop every damn day since its release. The guitar work here is just insanely great, the rhythm section is full, and the lyrics are fine-tuned. It's hard to pick a favorite track on this record, especially with the first five tracks hitting you like a savage combo from a wildly infuriated boxer. There's a great sense of frustration in these songs, fueled by some visceral licks and riffs and backed up by razor-sharp lyrics. Favorite track: Confusion.

Isolated and all alone Get self-help books dropped off by drone Billionaires in space Pay no mind to the rising rent Just spread the word through the underpass tents Billionaires in space Seas are rising and and you got no home They don’t pay no taxes and we’re on our own Billionaires in Space Looking for a saviour cause times are tough Just drop to your knees and look straight up At the Billionaires in space While we work for them and break our backs They’re playing dress-up in a cowboy hat launching high above their desert base Is one big middle finger from the Billionaires in Space People kick startin’ for their insulin Down from the top they call it tricklin’ Billionaires in Space Down here on earth so many need a hand So somebody tell me why the hell we have Billionaires in space When they lose we bail them out again But when they win they’re libertarians Launching high above their desert base Is one big middle finger … From the billionaires in space One small step for mankind to a living wage Instead we’re living through a second gilded age Time has come now won’t you join me as we raise our collective middle finger to the billionaires in space

Confusion 03:37
Confusion Is bringin’ me down Shapes wanna shift, squares all around Illusion, every look is a stare and The prints that I’m tracking match the shoes that I’m wearing And it’s rollin’ over And it’s rollin’ over me And it’s rollin’ over Confusion, can’t remember the plan Off the top of my head, like the back of my hand Conclusions stumbled upon Find all the answers then come down and they’re gone And it’s rollin’ over And it’s rollin’ over me And it’s rollin’ over And it’s rollin’ over And it’s rollin’ over me And it’s rollin’ over Confusion, climbing walls that are breathing The thing they exhale is the truth but misleading Exclusion, can’t seem to get it together In the same boat but we all got our own weather And it’s rollin’ over And as far as I can see Oh it’s rollin’ over Rollin’ over me

Gatekeeper 03:42
Hey gatekeeper, tell me what you wanna see How many times I gotta walk your line before you take a look at me Oh Gatekeeper you give it all to your friends They pat your back, keep you in the black, nothing changes in the end Your high comes from keeping others low You find the parts but you’re never gonna see the whole Hey gatekeeper cut ‘em down so you feel tall Seeking rent, counting every cent selling ladders by the wall You got me bleeding like a stone The deck is stacked the seeds are sown So I’ll just do it on my own Do it on my own Hey gatekeeper, tell me what’s your role? Wine and dine, always looking fine in the emperor's new clothes Oh gatekeeper don’t try to tell me what you know I had my ten thousand hours in about ten thousand hours ago Your high comes from keeping others low You fin d the parts but you’re never gonna see the whole Oh gatekeeper won’t ever get the message through Time will come when you know my name but by then I won’t remember you You got me bleeding like a stone The deck is stacked the seeds are sown So I’ll just do it on my own Do it on my own You got me bleeding like a stone The deck is stacked the seeds are sown So I’ll just do it on my own Do it on my own

Crazy 03:29
If you look you’ll find the traces in every page of the book Something hidden in the places they tell you never to look Gonna teach you a lesson, gonna put out the fire Gonna need to keep your voice down while they preach to the choir So step outside the light that blinds you to maybe Everybody in your life will tell you you’re crazy But what do they know They never stop trying to sell you things you won’t ever need What they call fallin’ apart looks pretty good to me And when you come to your senses, when the game’s wearing thin Once they’ve shown you the fences, what’s left keeping you in So step outside the light that blinds you to maybe Everybody in your life will tell you you’re crazy But what do they know So turn against the tide that drowns you in safety Everybody asking why will tell you you’re crazy But what do they know What do they know What do they know

I drove a million miles to find you but I’m just a message on your phone You’re not looking for a breakthrough while you’re above and I’m below Every unearned reputation, every crony’s accolade Been times out of frustration had half a mind to walk away But I’m gonna keep on comin’ ‘Til they put their hands in the air I’m gonna keep on comin’ ‘Til I’m there Everybody’s got an opinion, everybody wants a say But I ain’t gonna listen, ‘cuz you’ve just been in my way I’m gonna keep on comin’ ‘Til I see your hands in the air I’m gonna keep on comin’ I’m gonna keep on comin’ Gonna find another way somewhere Yeah I’m gonna keep on comin’ Say what you will you know I don’t care I’m gonna keep on comin’ ‘Til I see your hands in the air Yeah I’m gonna keep on comin'

Wastin time but I can’t ever waste enough It gets me high but I don’t never touch the stuff Feel the fire but I can’t shake the creeping rust Times I try but I just fill my hands with dust Time has come along at last to face that wall against your back I’ve been waiting long enough to light it up Set this house on fire Set this house on fire Set this house on fire I can’t wait no more to light it up Days march on, months are gone years turn hands to stone Ticking clock writes your song if you don’t write your own Groove is a grind every gift becomes a curse A hundred thousand lines don’t make a single verse Time has come along at last to face that wall against your back I’ve been waiting long enough to light it up Set this House on fire Set this House on fire Set this House on fire I can’t wait no more to light it up Time has come along at last to face that wall against your back I’ve been waiting long enough to light it up Set this House on fire Set this House on fire Set this House on fire I can’t wait no more to light it up

Gone 04:17
I know you spend your time with someone else Got hearts in jars sittin’ on your shelf Talkin’ bout things you never ever felt ‘til it’s gone You lost the book that tells you where the gold was kept Carved your name so many times the wood was wrecked Can’t help but to give us what we all expect ‘til it’s gone Complain about the faces on the cards you're dealt All eyes on you not a single tell A look behind the curtain really broke the spell Now it’s gone Everybody who sees you wants you Everybody who knows you wants you Gone You keep stringin’ everybody along But you stayed at the party too long Gone The days when it was just you alone Who knew where everybody was wrong You watch yourself inches from the screen Searching every frame for what you never been Last time around will be the first you’ve seen Where you’ve gone Ain’t nobody left to heed your beck It’s way past time but you never checked The searchin only starts when there’s not much left Now it’s gone Everybody who sees you wants you Everybody who knows you wants you Gone You keep stringin’ everybody along But you stayed at the party too long Gone The days when it was just you alone Who knew where everybody was wrong

Love is louder than hate but gimme something to listen to while I wait Dark ‘fore the break of day but I can’t see my hand in front of my face It ain’t up to me but if it was you’d see Shepherds say they’re takin’ to the streets bought and paid for on the last dime of their sheep We’re not old, just close to the end Walls run through our backyards we don’t know why we defend It ain’t up to me but if it was you’d see ‘Cause the way forward’s clear we just can’t see it from here. Spin takes the place of truth Takes a whole lotta tryin’ just to get a message through everybody rides...where they should walk Pay is good but time is short and the whole world’s on the clock It ain’t up to me but if it was you’d see Start now that it’s too late Hoarded it for yourself, now you talk give and take Don’t deal ‘til the deck is stacked Only give a tenth of what you get back It ain’t up to me but if it was you’d see ‘Cause if you’re looking to steer the back seat is right here ‘Cause the way forward’s clear we just can’t see it from here.
